Character Customization On a Whole New Different Level! [The Onion]

Random character creation in Elder Scrolls Online

If you weren't satisfied with your character customization with the present games, we give you the future. Changing your character's race, skin colour, beard, boob size or the colour of the eyes is extremely unsatisfactory. These are just some of the factors that could be of huge importance to the game.

But with the new Elder Scrolls Online engine, you will be able to change your character on a molecular level. Now you can be immune to more diseases, or if you suck at anatomy your character might die instantly. It makes the game far more realistic, the game choices are infinite and it will take you only a few days to build your persona.

Now you'll be able to have a character with the perfect looks. The hair will not be stereotypical, you might enhance the body specially for a two-handed axe, if you are a female character, the boobage will be more realistic, and you'll be able to seduce men with your pheromones. How awesome is that?!

And if you are lazy, you can always click the randomise button or simply skip this step.

Here is the video with the full tutorial:

Beware of the big update: Love & War. On day One Valve are showing us their longest short clip ever - it's almost 15 minutes (one second to spare).

In this story Engineer and Medic discover some shocking news about the teleports and bread. Scout decides to ask Spy for a favour and upgrade some of his skills (as seen above). At the end we see something that might be a big new feature in the Team Fortress 2 co-op world.

With this video Valve has revealed a few new taunts like the Conga, Square Dance and Skull Cracker.

Top 10 Greatest and Most Memorable Robots

There, there reader, I know. You've probably come here with great expectations that your favourite robot will make the list; that this article will truly shine on the bright examples of machinery in your favourite animé, movie or game..

Well, not that I want to be disappointing in any manner in these first lines of this post, but what you're about to read may not live out to your expectation.

First of all robots in an extremely broad term. Is it a machine, a synthetic organism, AI, operable vehicle, domestic tool ? A robot can be a definition for a variety of objects, which is why I was very lenient in what qualified to fit in my list.

Second, while I read a lot of opinions and watched even more video shows depicting the best of robots in a variety of mediums, "best" is still a relative term. Since robots are designed and manufactured for a lot of different purposes and tasks, there in no one single category which encompasses ALL of them...Except maybe fuel efficiency, but get real, nobody ever thought of that, so it's not possible to make a classification.

Along the fact that you can't really compare everything with everything, there is the matter of personal opinion, which can strongly sway the pendulum towards one side or the matter. And while I'm savvy with the TV remote, game controller and the Internet, I have not played or watched a lot of "the most popular", "best" and "greatest" productions, and certainly not liked many of the ones I've tried.

Therefore, this article will try to resemble an ordered and authoritative count down, but it will also very much rely on my personal experience and tastes.

Snoop, take it from here !

Heroes of The Storm: What to Expect

A long expected game is closer to its release. The game known as Blizzard DOTA, later Blizzard all-stars, is gaining more popularity with each day. We've seen a small gameplay preview on BlizzCon, we've read and watched many people talking about it, how it's different from other games, the style and everything known about it. You can even sign up for the public Beta test. But will Heroes of The Storm be worth it?

Heroes of The Storm Poster with Logo

The Differences

Right now there are two outstanding MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) games out there - League of Legends and Dota 2. LoL has a huge fandom and is the most played online PC game in the World right now. Dota 2 is newer, but is quickly gaining more and more players. It's only logical to compare Heroes of the storm with those two giants.

Game Review: Path of Exile

Path of Exile is an Online Action RPG, produced by Grinding Gear Games studion in New Zealand. For reference, other popular games of the genre are the Diablo and Torchlight series. I've been playing it for the last few months and have fallen madly in love with it. I wanted to share my insight on the game with you, so I decided to make a complete review.

Note: What you're about to read is my personal take on the matter and my point of view on the game, so please do not be angered if our opinions differ in some aspects.

3 Good Reasons Why Video Games Are NOT The Problem

GTA V' came out and with it the controversy for video game violence took another round. I couldn't stand still while watching all the nonsense go public, so here is my take on why we're locking the wrong guy.

1. Age Ratings – A Border With No Fence

Children vs. Age Ratings - Round 849
Every publisher rates their game according to it's contents. This is a guide to how old the consumer should be in order not to experience a negative impact from the product. There are associations that provide rating systems like the British Board of Film Classification's (BBFC) or the Pan European Game Information System (PEGI). According to the BBFC, it's an offence to sell products against the ratings. However, in practice, there is almost no legal way to stop consumers of attaining a product, not recommended for their age.

This happens mainly because the law in the area of digital entertainment is shady. It defines almost no rules and has no control over what happens.
Why hasn't the government restructured the law to address the issue of children getting their hands on inappropriate material? Nobody knows...

However, there is fully detailed information in the web about every existing video game. There can be absolutely no excuse for being uninformed. Which brings us to our second point.
