Silly but "SECRET". Hidden London Sightseeings!

The Neal's Yard clock

This cute creation  of Andy Plant and Tim Hunkin has been a special feature of Shorts Gardens since the early 80's. The property itself is a Holland and Barrett health shop at the moment. It is a bit sad but the clock does not work properly right now..

At the time when it was in full working order water used to fall down the wall every 60 minutes and thus filling 5 cans, held by the figures at the bottom. All except one water a plant. It is the  fifth one that pores water either down on the street either upon your head.

Venezuela - The Home of Plastic Culture and Artificial Beauty

Migbelis Lynette Castellanos Romero
Miss Venezuela 2013
Here I am, minding my own business browsing the webs on a Tuesday morning. I haven't had my coffee yet, and this man appears that shatters my believes for how spiritually void, materialistic and profane a man can be. (By man I mean a human being - just so we're clear.)

The video below is a short documentary for how the Venezuelans have pushed the female appearance to the extreme, enforcing an iron model for the female body. Everyone who doesn't meet that model is deemed unattractive, or not as attractive as they can be, which literally forces women to undergo countless of surgery procedures in order to mould their body into the standard. A standard that's completely fake.

Top 10 Greatest and Most Memorable Robots

There, there reader, I know. You've probably come here with great expectations that your favourite robot will make the list; that this article will truly shine on the bright examples of machinery in your favourite animé, movie or game..

Well, not that I want to be disappointing in any manner in these first lines of this post, but what you're about to read may not live out to your expectation.

First of all robots in an extremely broad term. Is it a machine, a synthetic organism, AI, operable vehicle, domestic tool ? A robot can be a definition for a variety of objects, which is why I was very lenient in what qualified to fit in my list.

Second, while I read a lot of opinions and watched even more video shows depicting the best of robots in a variety of mediums, "best" is still a relative term. Since robots are designed and manufactured for a lot of different purposes and tasks, there in no one single category which encompasses ALL of them...Except maybe fuel efficiency, but get real, nobody ever thought of that, so it's not possible to make a classification.

Along the fact that you can't really compare everything with everything, there is the matter of personal opinion, which can strongly sway the pendulum towards one side or the matter. And while I'm savvy with the TV remote, game controller and the Internet, I have not played or watched a lot of "the most popular", "best" and "greatest" productions, and certainly not liked many of the ones I've tried.

Therefore, this article will try to resemble an ordered and authoritative count down, but it will also very much rely on my personal experience and tastes.

Snoop, take it from here !

Elizabet Báthory - The Most Prolific Female Serial Killer

Elizabeth Bathory Portrait
A Portrait
A few months back I was on a mini Euro Trip. We visited Vienna, Krakow, Bratislava, the Wieliczka Salt mine, a few other smaller cities and at the end we had a bonus trip to Budapest. All beautiful places and the tour guide was a brilliant old lady, which could answer every question you ask. Brilliant! When we went passed by Čachtice Castle in Slovakia she told us the story about Elizabeth Báthory. The thing that grabbed my attention was the part with the hundreds of girls dead and how Elizabeth bathed in their blood. I thought it was a fiction or just a story for the tourists, but when I did a little research, things were very real.

They call her the Blood Countess. And it's a very reasonable name.

You may heard she is related to Count Dracula and that that connection caused her bloodthirst. Or there is a story which says her childhood nurse was practising black magic and liked to sacrifice little children. But that's not all - her aunt was a witch, her uncle a devil worshipper and her brother a paedophile. Now that's a classy family tree. Of course, these stories are all made up.

Meow Meow and Other Horrific Drugs

We all love browsing the internet. We love to check out some news sites, browse Reddit and see some funny articles and pictures. Every now and then you see some really bizarre and shocking story you just feel obligated to share.

At the beginning of this year a horrific accident occurred in the United Kingdom. A 19-year-old lad stabbed his mother and to make things even more interesting he cut off his peepee. It is said that this strange action happened thanks to a drug called Meow Meow.

It sound cute and fluffy. You might even think of Colonel Meow or the beloved cabaret star with the same name. But this has nothing to do with it. The drug's real name is Mephedrone and you might have heard it as Drone or MCAT.

Colonel Meow
It's not as popular as other poisons on the market, but it has similar effects as amphetamines, ecstasy or cocaine. But probably thanks to this news story people will be looking for it in dark alleys. You know what they say - "There is no such thing as bad publicity". And drug dealers were probably just waiting for something similar to happen.

The story made me think about other weird and horrific drugs. So I decided to make a small list of really dangerous substances which made the news with some monstrous stories.
